This is a film I directed for Renault F1 team with Nouxe Productions near Marseilles, France.

A race between F1 car and jet plane shot on HD. I added the plane as 3d model in smoke and textured (my initials and my editor's Charles Quilley are underneath the cockpit canopy!)

From storyboard to shoot to edit to finishing in smoke.
